today was a v. good mail day

moose74, I got your cards aldkfjsadlj! Oh, girls, I love you both so much, thank you! ♥ Lface, you are my sparkly girl. That card totally reminded me of artistic!Justin and that made me squee even more coming from you, hee! Twinface, you always crack me up! Chad has settled in quite nicely and now we're both waiting for Gale to show up. *leers*

Also in the pile: the new TV Guide, yay! Vanished/Gale made it to the Cheers section! I saw him, squeed, then had a

moment while trying to find out if his picture was there for a Cheer or Jeer. S'okay, was all good. Mainly about Vanished having Deadwood actors. And side by side photos of Gale as Kelton/Wyatt. Mmm, yeah, that pornstache still makes me purr kthx.

But what I'm really excited about is the upcoming Fall Preview issue.

They had some behind-the-scenes photos for it and, while there's no Gale yet, sounds like there definitely could be.

For three weeks, we took over Quixote studios in West Hollywood ... and photographed 129 actors from 20 of fall's most promising new shows.

Vanished is promising, right? RIGHT. Does TV Guide provide clothes? OH GOD PLZ LET TELL ME THEY LET GALE DRESS HIMSELF.

And also of note: TV Guide is not as cheap as FOX as they actually had air conditioners to battle the heat wave. :P

While stars hung out at the coffee bar and watched the Cartoon Network annd E! during downtime...

I have such a happy visual of Gale kicked back, watching cartoons, drinking blended mochas and calling Randy on his cell. ♥

Anyway, that'll be the Sept 11 issue.

The second scan is of Hal, same issue. He's gonna be on Celebrity Duets. On the FOX network. AKA, the closest he and Gale will ever get to working together again, heh.

Does TV Guide provide clothes?

FYI, in the past, they pretty much have provided the clothes since they had a penchant for snapping the cast of a show wearing the same or coordinating colors, ie: the Sopranos cast all in black, etc. Don't know if that'll be the case this year.

ALthough I always watched QAF, I never really got involved in any of the backlot stories, I had only read an article or two about the cast and basically that was because of curiousity about who was actually gay in real life.

It wasn't until after the Series finale that my consuming interest really took off (long story).

Anyway, I'm curious, did Hal not get along with Gale? I was wondering from the comments about the closest they'd come to working together (or being together?) again. Drama?

That's the $64,000 question. ;)

Hal's never outright said anything against Gale, but personally, I've always gotten the vibe that they're not that close, that there was tension. Just different personalities clashing.

Then months ago Hal was asked about Gale at a fan gathering and he bluntly avoided the question when it would have been easier to have just given a generic "He's a nice guy". Granted, that could mean absolutely nothing, but it still raised more than a few eyebrows in fandom.

yeah, really, you can say all sorts of thing--even things that have a hidden nasty meaning--without resorting to that "no comment" sort of attitude. In fact, given the fact that the question probably came up a lot, you would have thought he would have had some canned answer prepared for such occasions.

I KNOW RIGHT. I always get mail late. Doesn't help I'm not home a lot lately and it piles up. I think what's happening it that when it reaches a certain amount, the mailman takes it back to the post office. And then it has to be re-delivered and that takes longer. :(

But lakdfjaslkj doesn't matter - you are worth the wait! :D

I better hurry up and send you Galewoody so maybe it can get there by Christmas. :|
