Getting TOSed by Photobucket for cartoon nudity is like getting your first flame for mpreg. I FEEL LIKE I'VE FINALLY ARRIVED INTO FANDOM OKAY. It honestly didn't even cross my mind that there'd be a problem with fine cartoon ass. I mean, hello, there's a whole folder of stick figure porno icons like this one that's been there for years. Not to mention there was no real rhyme or reason to some of the deletions.

Everything's fixed now. The deleted icons (dude, nearly 60 alkjda that's a lot of sim flesh) are in my LJ scrapbook for now. First time using it, and, wow, I don't like it. It doesn't let you keep your filenames. WTF. That is so giving me an eye tic. Like I wasn't already icon-coding challenged without randomly numbered icon names, pbbbt.

First *scrolls down to #20* *snufoofle-choke-rolls-over-ded* It looks like Brian forgot to bake the apples into a pie first. Oh wait, he can't cook *stifles more snickering*

Second, after spending hours days investigating suitable sites for adult content, I could find *none* that would offer anything free worth having and absolutely nothing on par with PB even if you get a paid account. Plus they're a bit like LJ scrapbook in that they don't generally let you keep the original filenames and are much less user friendly. But even having a paid account with Photobucket didn't save me from having almost one third of my pics deleted in two stages. They even deleted a picture of a tape measure for Kinney's sake! A tape measure!!! Ok, it had the words Cock Scene Investigation on it but, seriously, they were in teeny weeny letters so what the f*ck! *snort*

I'm on a $3 a month account with weblogimages and my last post/picspam blew out the entire month's bandwidth of 1.75MB in just 24 hours! What I love about it though, apart from its perv-friendly TOC, is that it gives stats for each and every pic so you can see how many hits and whether anyone's hotlinking. But I learnt the hard way that the < img > code it generates is not a direct link one so I was wondering why my pictures ended up disappearing later on. IOW you have to specify whether you want direct linking codes *shakes head* I also got myself a "backup" account with imagevenue.com which cost $20 a year but it's really crappy in its storage design. I almost got an account with photojerkatwork.netcom just for the name alone! But it seems that nothing porny in life is free :(
