I heard Aretha being interviewed a week or so
after the inaugural, and she was as good as her
hat, if that is possible. She takes herself
very seriously now. She has donated her hat
to the Smithsonian and tours there with
large groups periodically. She prefers P.H.D.
candidates.
She has rewritten history giving her hat a
prominent place in the president's election.
According to her she toured with the then
canadidate Obama, thousands took note
of her hat and saw it as a good will omen.
