My Spoiler Policy According to Sheldon Cooper: Stuart: Here, Sheldon, I pulled the new Hellboy for you. It's mind-blowing. Sheldon: Excuse me! Spoiler alert! Stuart: I didn't spoil anything. Sheldon: You told me it's mind-blowing, so my mind is going into it pre-blown, and once a mind is pre-blown, it cannot be re-blown. --The Big Bang Theory
You know, I was thinking earlier about how I used to fantasize about having a real President Bartlett. I think this is pretty damned close, certainly closer than I expected to get, and that makes me very, very happy.
Oh, and have you seen this: http://www.artofobama.com/2008/07/29/super-obama-man/comment-page-1/ and the rest of the stuff on that site: http://www.artofobama.com/
Big huge ditto! TWW was my happy place for years and now it's like we just got our v. own Bartlet. Plus I kept wondering what the convos were like in the limo rides over, thanks to seeing stuff like that on TWW. ;)
Totally! I watched it live, but my favorite part is still looking at photos of the day. Of any event, really. You catch so much more detail in photos. *loves*
This is the first time in my life (except for the election, maybe), that I really wish I was an American. Because it feels weird to get so excited and happy about a new president that is not of my own country. (Then again, the president of the US possibly IS the most important political figure in the world, so I'm totally entitled to being happy, too.)
I have to say this to all of you American people,I'm proud of you, because, you finally made a change and decided to give your country some hope,it's not gonna be easy,(George w,fucked it up big time)but, just to see all the people's faces, was enough,I wish your president all the luck (he's gonna need it)and the wisdom to face the future.
Besides, if YOU are ok, WE (third world countries) are gonna be a little better =)
this was an incredible day. I had a bitch of a headache but I lay in my bed and watched the Obama Show XD Even Germany is happy :)
I loved the little problem he had when the sentence Obama had to repeat was too long and he forgot LOL On TV here they said that it was a mistake of that other guy because the sentence was in fact too long *G*
What a wonderful collection, Ree! It's been such an extraordinary day--hard to put into words. I've been tearful several times, but they're happy tears, of course! It's so wonderful to have a president who represents such hope! I know it's not going to be easy and I'm prepared to do anything I can to help, but tonight, I am very excited!!!!!! ♥
That young man with the tears streaming from his eyes, what a picture that makes. Obama is EVERYBODY'S President. Now we just have to help the man do his job. Suck it up and roll up our collective sleeves, we got a mess to clean up!
Many thanks for posting these wonderful and historic photo's. I took a day off and watched on TV all day, I live in England and feel with Obama as President of America there can be fresh hope for the whole world, may God bless him and his family and give him the courage to make the right decisions in this huge job.
Ooooh, is that from the last season? I still have to watch that season. I keep saving it to savor. I just don't want the series to ever be over. I'm pitiful. ;)
