Oh god, I read that fic (and that scene!) so many times. SO PAINFUL. *clutches heart*

Also, damn you. Somehow I never felt the urge to re-visit QaF fandom after it faded out, but now I NEED to re-read this when I get home and I'm worried that it won't live up to my memories.
