My Spoiler Policy According to Sheldon Cooper: Stuart: Here, Sheldon, I pulled the new Hellboy for you. It's mind-blowing. Sheldon: Excuse me! Spoiler alert! Stuart: I didn't spoil anything. Sheldon: You told me it's mind-blowing, so my mind is going into it pre-blown, and once a mind is pre-blown, it cannot be re-blown. --The Big Bang Theory
Am very happy and will be posting a picture like this at my desk.
On the other hand, I cannot believe that all of those spots are green. I know for a fact that I am quite orange. I say that unless 100% of districts are counted, I will not concede to total failbomb. I feel very episode 314 now, y'know?
And I want a picture of your desk with a picture like that. ♥
I'm totally feeling your 314ness. The green is blinding. I do not understand. Especially how Hollywood is included in there. Orange needs to be the new green. *nod*
I'm trying to keep hope alive. Of course, CA is making it hard. I check the results and another county just changed from good to bad. :| BUT YAY FOR HOPE.
I have mixed feelings this evening. I'm happy for Obama's win, but sad that Prop. 8 may win (banning same-sex marriage). Everyone is talking about how prejudice has been overcome today, I disagree, not on gay marriage. The fight is still on.
!!! I'm happy for America :D, I've been following the counting since early this morning. :D, I left lunch for lunch still with 63 votes needed and I came back to a landslide victory, I about squeed here. :D
I'm not too sure on how to interpret Prop 8 results,so did it result to a yes then? :|
Yes, prop 8 is very dissapointing right now, but I have faith that our new democratic representatives will fix this federally in the near future :-) It is still, while not perfect, a WONDERFUL night for America
I'm happy too because this victory also the rest of the world. I hope that these words have been recepite for all the people American and not. BTW It was a beautiful speech! "It’s the answer spoken by young and old, rich and poor, Democrat and Republican, black, white, Latino, Asian, Native American, gay, straight, disabled and not disabled – Americans who sent a message to the world that we have never been a collection of Red States and Blue States: we are, and always will be, the United States of America." Is the result of prop the 8 definitive? I hope not.
We did it, Reeface! We just witnessed history! And what a pretty family they are. I still can't believe it. And like someone said, they keep claiming that the US just demonstrated we are no longer prejudiced against minorities, yet they're totally overlooking the outcome of Prop 8. So disappointing, and we do have so far to go :(
But at least our nation's on the right track now, right?! Also, hi there Reeface. Loveyoumissyou, hope you're well!
OMG HI THERE DARLINGPARNTS! ♥ We so rock! Would've been a perfect night if not for that damned Prop 8, grr. But, yes! Just like you said, totally on the right track. And appeals/protests have started. :D
I lovemiss you so much! :(((( ALSO OMG. Can I beg for your new snailmail addy? I hear you're in NY now!
