Brian continues to annoy and offend (yet do his job, albeit in a scuzzy way). And I know they need someone to be Luke's nemesis and vehicle for the writers for the anti-pov, but why isn't Luke's foundation geared toward helping gay community, period?

Also, I really did think Brian was a second away from coming out himself, heh. No, really. Soon as he hit the "Let me tell you something, Luke..." I was so SURE.

This ep is basically all about bitchy!Luke aldfjas. Score!

• Even the guys in film school movies are getting more action that Luke and Noah. :|

That said, I'm tickled about the equal rights storyline. Luke gets to get his Justin vibe going on even more. His version of protest posters can't be far behind.

• Whoa! Dusty's back! I did not know that! Luke and Noah are all *casual talking* and then OMG HEY THERE PREVIOUSLY DEAD DUSTY ALKDJA. That's what I get for only watching on Nuke days, heh. Well, this is AWESOME. I've been wanting Noah to have his Dad v.2.0 back, woot!

D: Hey, Luke, Noah.
N: Dusty, hey. *awkward pose that screams "WOW THAT WAS SOME GOOD FATHER/SON MOJO WE HAD LAST TIME I SAW YOU TOO BAD YOU PRETENDED TO BE DED RIGHT AFTER IT"*
D: ... I just wanted to say...
L: *bitchy!Luke*

FOR REALZ. That expression Luke gets aldja. It's this mix of thinking Noah's hot when he gets all firm, getting caught at speaking for the both of them, pride that Noah spoke up, with some surprise that they don't agree added in. And about a thousand other emotions. I love Van.




N: Look. You may not want to talk to Dusty, but I do.
L: Noah, are you kidding?

I get this is the follow-up convo for it, but why are they making Luke dense? His expression told us he got it before the commercial when Noah said he could speak for himself. :| Hmn, wait. He does say later that he didn't know Dusty had helped Noah during that .002 seconds when Noah was a drunk, cos y'know, boyfriend being in the hospital and all at the time. And that's when Luke calms down about the "doesn't feel like you're on my side" stuff. Okay, nevermind. I'll let this one pass, writers. :P

• Hey, Reg is back too. "Come on, I saw your name, I had to look." So flirting, heh. This being a soap and all, I should just prepare myself for these two hooking up at some point, huh? I like Reg. I don't want him to be an Ethan. :(


D: You two seem pretty tight. Are you guys, uh...
N: Together? Uh, yeah. Yeah, we are.

And then they have a most awesome father/son convo. ♥ There even seems to be a little foreshadowing in Dusty telling him that he'll find his son or die trying. Crazy-Army!Daddy is plotting his return soonish, I suspect.

• HOLY SHIT KEVIN IS BACK TOO ALDFKJA. Wow, this ep is like a reunion with all these older actors showing up. Kevin looks like he wants to crawl under the table, heh. He just has to mention the girls. I shall call him Hal from now on. I love how the camera stays on Van for most of this scene. At one point, you just hear Kevin's disembodied voice as the dialogue continues, heh.


N: He has clammy hands.

ALDKFJASLDKJ I LOVE YOU PROTECTIVE!NOAH. And then it just gets better, cos that's when Reg shows back up...
