I thought the Africa vacation explained his absence earlier this summer, and that the September absence was due to another vacation he took in late July/early August. The stuff he filmed when he got back from Africa was around the time of Cyndi Lauper, Army, etc. and he was all tanned. :)

I coulda got his vacations mixed up :D He's had more than one this year (lucky thing!).

Boy, I wish I could afford such vacations when I'm working for exactly 16 days over three months (June to August -- I counted them!).
