He does seem to be mocking QAF a little. It made me giggle.

Now if only Hal would update his blog by insisting "Even though I'm straight, I still found Gale's lack of appreciation for CowLip's visionary iconacism unprofessional and damn it why don't people get that Mikey was the truly iconic everyman."

Ah, Hal. How I loathe.

And I love how well you understand Hal. Just reminding us that he is straight. Even if it has nothing to do with the topic. Just a "subtle" reminder...
